NEW and FREE: TK Lum-Mask plugin for Adobe Photoshop 2021 – Good Light Journal

I’m excited to announce the launch of the new “TK Lum-Mask” plugin for Adobe Photoshop.  TK Lum-Mask is a luminosity mask generator built on Adobe’s Unified Extensibility Platform (UXP), which is new in Photoshop 2021. Luminosity masks are a unique creative tool, and the TK Lum-Mask plugin makes it easy to add them to your workflow.  NOTE: Adobe uses the more inclusive term “plugin” to refer to applications developed on UXP, instead of “panel.”

Drupal 9 Upgrade Considerations | Third and Grove

1 month 1 week ago
The advent of Drupal 8 brought about many new features and improvements. One highly anticipated change was the move to a new structured release cycle. The update promised to improve compatibilities between versions, introduce gradual deprecation of old APIs alongside new features, and strongly suggested that the days of performing full-site rebuilds to move between major versions of Drupal were in the past.

Security Code Scan

1 month 3 weeks ago
Detects various security vulnerability patterns: SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), XML eXternal Entity Injection (XXE), etc. Inter-procedural taint analysis for input data. Continuous Integration (CI) support for GitHub and GitLab pipelines. Stand-alone runner or through MSBuild for custom integrations. Analyzes .NET and .NET Core projects in a background (IntelliSense) or during a build. Works with Visual Studio 2019 or higher. Visual Studio Community, Professional and Enterprise editions are supported. Other editors that support Roslyn based analyzers like Rider or OmniSharp should work too.

(151) Scanning Film With VueScan + Epson Scan Comparison - YouTube

2 months 3 weeks ago
In this video, I go over my film scanning workflow using VueScan software and an Epson V500 and then compare the results with Epson Scan. I've only been using VueScan for a short period of time, but I've been incredibly happy with the results, and feel like I finally have a workflow for scanning at home that produces the results that I'm after.

hexops/dockerfile: Dockerfile best-practices for writing production-worthy Docker images.

2 months 4 weeks ago
Writing production-worthy Dockerfiles is, unfortunately, not as simple as you would imagine. Most Docker images in the wild fail here, and even professionals often[1] get[2] this[2] wrong[3]. This repository has best-practices for writing Dockerfiles that I (@slimsag) have quite painfully learned over the years both from my personal projects and from my work @sourcegraph. This is all guidance, not a mandate - there may sometimes be reasons to not do what is described here, but if you don't know then this is probably what you should be doing.
